I think you've changed the wheels since eBay too? Looked like it pulled well as you joined the a27. Nice motor Darren, always fancied a FI MX-5.

How you doin' fella, havent seen you for ages

Yeah all good, buying a house at the moment so haven't really been having any car fun recently frown

Do you still have the TWR XJ40? Depending on how things go with the house next year I'm tempted by an XJ, would love to have a ride out in it some time just to get more of a feel for XJs smile

How's the coupé going? smile

Ever since you showed me around the XK and XJR6 I can't stop thinking about Jag's!

Matt

TWR is still in the stable, no issues with that since the cam sensor packed up, coupe is still having surgery. Still, in no rush for that as whilst its in the shop its dry and warm!!!
Ill bring the TWR to the "Barge Meet for Ross" if the dates work out, get you out in that one then.

Catch up soon,,
D

That'll be me, just put the hardtop back on for winter, but boy its a pita, dragging it out of the shed and three people to get it on (safely with no drops, dents or scratches!) may leave it off next year and sell it!

Had a feeling it was smile Yeah, cold day with heated seats on roof down blast would be bliss! Maybe some winter rubber would be a wiser investment wink

Funny you should say that as I have been looking at getting a set of 18" with winter rubber on, but its just had Insp I service at Ridgeway (as it was still under warranty) and that was a little eye watering!

I followed a black '06 plate V8 Vantage out of Lyndhurst this afternoon, sounded lovely. Coming the other way was a Black Sierra Cosworth, possibly an RS500 with what looked like Compmotive MO's the six spoke versions similar to Reyland Cossie had. thumbup
