Unless there were two rather lovely Astons on the M3 (Northbound near Winchester about 7ish?) this morning, I think that Ferrari might have been a Noble...

Have you moved house Dave? Only I thought you'd have been on the A21 this morning. I thought of you today, as I popped into The Car Wash Diner in Hurst Green in my Noble.

I stand correct having googled Noble  M12  GTO 3R it must have been your car, it was a bit early great car by the way. But there may have been more that one Aston on the M3 as Concours at Woburn Abbey today.

Indeed, I'm one of the West Country Nobility now! Funnily enough we were passing your neck of the woods as we were up to Brands for the GT racing today. Have to say I don't miss the roadspotholes of East Sussex much...

dig123 - yours was the first "proper" car we saw on our drive this morning; my lad spotted you before I did. Very nice. I see you're in Dorset so we'll look out for you; there's a PH meet tomorrow evening near Bournemouth BTW that we'll probably be along to.

I spotted a gray Lotus Elise plat ending ACG I think heading past Portsmouth with a small smiley in the window!

I was in the RB5 and although I had a gap waited with my indicator on but you didn't let me out cry

I was being cautious as my modified RB5 was having a moment a few minutes earlier where I'm cruising on a light throttle for over 10 minutes and its starts popping, banging and producing the odd flame. It needs to go in to see the mapper as I believe its got something to do with the map, its very peculiar but gives me a heart attack everytime it does it! hehe - I suddenly have visions of the engine letting go and trying to make it to the hard shoulder!

It can produce flames if running the anti-lag map but I never use it to be honest as its not suitable for the road and the car turns into a violent angry mess. It's probably a lot of good fun on the track though!

Running a pretty highly modded Impreza is an experience and its often a pretty challenging one!

Deliberately running rich to allow unburnt fuel into the exhaust system (where it burns) is a method of keeping a turbo spinning between gears. The turbo era F1 cars did this. Great for throttle response, but not so great for turbo longevity.

With "Antilag" as a user name, I suspect our Imprezza driver already knows this.

MMmmmmmm.... exceptionally lovely dark red v12 Vantage S on the ring road in Basingstoke yesterday evening and an orange '09 Exige heading from Alton to Basingstoke on the A339. The pair made a rather dull journey much more pleasant smile

Was behind a dark grey 15 plate Aventador off the Esso petrol station roundabout by the Park Gate police station heading towards Warsash. I had to turn into the royal mail depot at the last minute or I would have stayed behind it all the way. I waved and it sounded like they dropped a gear and blipped the throttle a few times, lovely sounds!

Anyone know who's it is? Surely a PHer? I'm sure there was someone round here with a blue Gallardo, maybe the same bloke?
