Black Ferrari Daytona convertible sounding fruity with a 5 on a white round background on the door heading North on the A34 a few hours ago.

And a rather sad looking white 991 GT3 with a smashed rear end on the back of a low loader nearer Oxford on the A34.
Ferrari would have been one of Chris Evans'

Small world... can just see you to the right at the end. I was in the red 147 GTA behind the knobber in the Z4.

Yep, that was him. It looked worse from lane 3 as I was debating how quickly a Leon would stop after crashing head on into the central reservation and how that compared to my braking distance. Cause to celebrate standard fit stability control I think as I doubt he would have made it otherwise.

Agreed the Z4 driver was a bit of a tit. That said, the Leon driver was a bit slow off the mark to react, had loads of time to move over and probably didnt have to react in the way it did. The swerve was way more aggressive than it needed to be and a simple use of brakes would have been appropriate. I reckon the Leon driver was 'distracted' by something else.

Missus saw what she thought was a Lotus in the petrol station just up the road from Fleetsbridge, towards Broadstone and happened to mention it as I was driving. Right kind of size, but not quite right... it was a Mclaren F1. Red, but I wasn't able to see the plate to see if it was the one owned by someone here.

That would be young Mr Shipperley's DDR! He'll be beside himself with excitement that it was mistaken for a McLaren biggrin

Spotted a BMW 321 cabriolet (pretty sure it was a 321 after a bit of Googling) yesterday at about 5:30pm on the A264 next to Horsham, in a sort of baby blue colour.

Looked fantastic amongst the modern stuff.

Stunning spot... you should put it on here as well

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

it would appear to be one of the final versions, as it only has one vent behind the C pillar- same as this one

http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1045987_rare-19...

edit- it's this one

Spotted a black Monaro going around the Hornet past CMW motorcycles on Friday evening. Must have been about 18:30 I guess. Sounded great!
