Hope all involved make a speedy recovery.
That part of Peak Lane is 50 mph, not 60 as stated in the paper, went down there yesterday to check!
50mph? Just out of curiosity (as I use the road daily) how did you reach that conclusion? I thought single-lane A-road national was 60mph?

I notice that the original comment, which was along the lines of "if it proves to be speed related, the driver should pay the bill for the emergency services" has been removed. Just as well too. I reported it. Saw it when the link was first put up and thought it was in bad taste. Some may argue freedom of speech and censorship, but I think the comment was a little insensitive.

You did the right thing.

Likewise for a full recovery. I suspect this will get very messy legally and financially given the wonderful limitations on some trade policies.Perhaps, perhaps not.

Sounds terrible, I do hope he makes a full recovery soon. Thoughts are with him. Thoughts are also with Paul and Steve, as this must be a difficult time for them also.

Just to give an update. Nick the passenger/owner has broken ribs, broken pelvis and ribs. In Southampton General Hospital. The hospital does not plan to operate. Today he actually moved oue of bed to put some load on his hip - hurt like hell. Just take time to recuberate.
