Luke and I are onboard - boom! Just the small matter of me getting 16,000 miles back to the Motherland and buying a suitable chariot in time...

I'm going to take a lowered petrol powered skateboard and a maybe a radio controlled helicopter!

Glad your sorted Dan, that's a fair old group for the PHSC on the TL site.

Ferries looking expensive at the moment? Euro tunnel is only about £95 though which is odd??

Let's start a list of who is in the gang of real men

TJR/Neil.d - Mega diesel of some description!
Gruffnutt +1 - Monaro

Got 2 pitches reserved with Adam. Ferry prices looked ok a couple of weeks ago. Has it gone up with all this chuntering?

Slap me down if I'm being stoopid, but is there a reason for this route and not Dover to Calais which is showing as £100 return for those dates?

I can see that the Calais route is about 80 miles longer? Ferry time seems 30 minutes shorter.................

Just wondering if the ferry price saving offsets the cost of the extra miles?

It is a shorter journey - i guess it depends on your car's mpg.

We do the cherbourg crossing as the road's are more fun on the other side...

Makes sense, I noted that the roads looked more interesting!

Could be tempted by the Dover option for the saving, further in the car but thats not a bad thing!

List is looking great. Add Dan and his gang and its going to be large!!
