Anybody know who's moved into the old Whiterose Nissan garage at Sheet. There are 3 sport cars under covers in the showroom, 1 of which has a Lotus badge on it.
Any ideas?

Not driven past for a few weeks. Used to go past every day. Has the car under the red tarpaulin gone or is that still there? I assumed it was some kind of model as opposed to a working car, given that it appeared to be forgotten about when the dealership shut a couple of years ago. May be wrong!

They have been working on the workshop behind for a while, all the windows have been blocked up. Just this week the 3 covered cars have arrived in the showroom, the middle 1 looks a classic. The showroom had been empty for a while before that, see it's all alarmed now.

Lanzante, a classic race car outfit are moving from their local premises to the Nissan garage.
It's been a long time coming updating those premises.

The owners girlfriend showed me some pictures of the workshop and it looks stunning, they have some cracking metal in at the moment.

I was walking past on Thursday and the covers were off of the cars. They were a Lotus Elan hardtop (about '73 I think), a Mclaren; and an F1 car in Renault Elf colours with Alain Prost's name on the side.

It was one of those rare occasions today when the covers were off the cars. I snapped this on the way past...

Talking of Petersfield garages, is 'Steep Honda' still there?

No way. That's like my actual dream garage right there!

I think:
Williams FW14 (the traction control, active suspension car!)
Ferrari F40
McLaren F1
Is that an F1 GTR behind and to the right (neon details), or a Merc CLK GTR?
No idea what the yellow is. Got a higher res photo?

Steep Honda, now you are going back in time they have been gone years. In car place and as said now cycle shop since they've been gone.

The black car with the coloured livery is a Mclaren F1 GTR and was the first longtail produced and is in great shape. The black and grey F1 road car is a great example, very original and a bit of a beast smile. The yellow car behind is another F1 GTR longtail and was shown at Goodwoods Festival of Speed back in 2011.

Bloody hell. £3 million before you get to the F40. At least!

At least being the correct phrase...

Here's a couple of my pics of the black longtail F1 GTR

and a few of the yellow GTR that I took at Goodwood FoS 2011

with one of its former pilots looking admiringly at it

and some pics of the Road Car F1 I found on the net smile

I'm a bit late responding but I've just seen an uncovered F1 in there tonight.

You should know that this is Lanzante - the team that won Le Mans in 1995 first time out!
