I'm cutting and pasting from 'This Is Sussex'

The full list of mobile speed cameras locations for December 2013 in West Sussex is here:

http://www.thisissussex.co.uk/Mobile-speed-camera-...

The Sussex Safer Roads Partnership has released a list of every single location where mobile speed cameras will be operated this month.

Drivers are entitled to know where camera locations are - as they are intended as a deterrent, rather than a way of making money.

The Safer Roads Partnership was unable to reveal, however, on what specific dates they would be at specific locations.

The following sites are for the Horsham/Crawley area only:

C405 Gossops Drive, Gosssops Green, Crawley - Outside 140 Gossops Drive

A23 London Road, junction with Manor Royal, Crawley

C142 Worth Road, Pound Hill, Crawley - Outside community centre

Haywards Heath - Northlands Avenue - Layby opposite Larch Way near medical centre

Warninglid - A23, B2115 overbridge

3 Broxmead Lane, Bolney - On Broxmead Lane overbridge

Cowfold - A272 Boney Road - Layby southside opposite Fairfield Cottages

Pondtail Road, Horsham - Outside 1 Pontail Road

A281 Guildford Road, Horsham - Outside 37 Horsham Road

Slinfold - A29 Stane Street

A23 - Various sites

It popped up in "What's new". I saw you as the OP and couldn't resist!

hehe

I'm down at the Goodwood SS this weekend. So, the info will help.

Thats quite and extensive list.

I've not been here long but Sussex police are a bit keen aren't they?

In my experience they've been 'keen' for the last 25 years - ever since I moved down from Central London but with the advent of the umarked motorbikes a couple of years ago they took it to a new level.

Not really. No more than average. I find their marketing is much stronger
than their practical activity.

I'd be a lot happier if 10% of the activity that goes into speed
control went into more serious things like using a hand held mobile
phone while driving.

I have occasion to visit Gatwick Airport and the
use of hand held mobiles seems pretty universal around there.
