All signed up. We will probably meet at Rownhams.
And me - what time as we need to be able to go to Lyndhurst for bacon butties!
I think they will be there from 8.00am and Jamie will leave about 9 to 9.10 to get to Beaulieu. I have cleared it with the Council so that is all fine.

If we could have a rough idea of who is going to Lyndhurst, it would help so that Mike has catered enough for everyone.

Went to Beaulieu only a couple of weeks ago so have the years ticket - anyone know if this is valid to get in on the 5th May?

Secondly, and this is a dumb question I know but having put name on list is it a bit like a Sunday Service where we park inside the grounds somewhere? No doubt I'm being v stupid but it's been a long week!

Anyway, back on track with this thread - might well join people at Rownhams for the drive down. driving

Not a dumb question Mike at all...Yes is the answer we will be parked right inside the grounds of Beaulieu on the day so other visitors will be able to see all of our cars as well...

Not too long to go now wink

Hi - Can you clarify a small point please? There are TWO meeting places before we all drive over to Beaulieu? One is at Rownhams and the other in Lyndhurst?

The Lyndhurst one gets Bacon Butties and Coffee and the Rownhams one gets Motorway Service quality offerings? wink

If this is correct I may have to alter my planed meeting place driving

Hi, I have arranged with the Crown Stirrup to serve tea / coffee / bacon butties for a very reasonable price at Lyndhurst Car Park post code SO43 7NY and have agreed this with the New Forest Council for people to park up FOC from 8am till 9.15. I know that Tommy Wareham will be joining up there with the CCX too.

I do know that there is a Mc D at Rownhams and David Goldie will be bringing people in from there. I do know of a couple of other convoys but these two are the main ones.

Hope this helps you to decide which one to join.

Hi Mark David Goldie will be at the services from about 8.am and will aim to leave at apx 9.am as we need to be at Beaulieu for 9.30am to allow time to park up before they open to the public.

Hi Shelley,

Really looking forward to this, looks like it's going to be great! We've had quite a bit of interest from the VX forum now, we have 13 cars including mine attending so a good show from us! biggrin We will join at Lyndhurst and follow on from there.

I hope this is the right car park??

Regards

Andy

As above I will be at Rownhams at 0800 for a 0900 departure (Black DB9). To stay away from the 'Normal' service station traffic I will be parking at the Western end of the car park (BP garage end) where there is normally plenty of room. As with most service stations there is a selection of shops (Costa etc) inside with a BP garage for those that need to top up. Will be leaving at 0900 for a 'Safe' drive to Beaulieu through the New Forest.
