Thanks Jason needed to do this as Mike from Crown wanted a rough idea of numbers to cater for. I know we have 14 rooms booked at Lyndhurst Park Hotel including 3 Lotus, 2 Ferraris, 1 Lambo, 1 TVR, and of course the CCX and a couple of his friends ( maybe more )

If anyone is local or staying nearby overnight, Mike from the crown Stirrup has offered to fire up the pubs BBQ on the Sunday evening for us, if you could let us or Mike know if you are interested (for numbers) and hope to see you some of you on Sunday and the rest on Monday morning, Mike is also doing the breakfast in the car park for the Lyndhurst group prior to the convoy smile

I only live a mile or so from Lyndhurst, so if the CCX needs to be left outside my house wink I am sure I will just sit there and look at it all night. No need for CCTV.

We'll be going to the BBQ at the Crown and Stirrup the night before too seeing as we're local.

Hi all

Just after some info, have registered and got ticket, but can we get out when we want to, just as bringing my one year old child and may not last all day, so will want to be in a position to leave grounds when I want to, once had good look round at all the tasty cars on show .

And what are the times we can get in to grounds

Thanks in advance

Hi Craig. Yes you will be able to leave when you want to. We need you to arrive at Beaulieu by 9.30am so that we are parked up before the general public arrive at 10am. You can either come direct to Beaulieu or there are a couple of convoys you may want to join up with.

I'm up for that Darren.
What time do you suggest?

Chris
Pop in to Rownhams Services on the way past......
What time at Farlington?
In the Sun.
Roof down.
Shades on.
Engine hot.

Men of the South,

Seeing as there are a few meeting places going on, what are the arrangements?

We will get a meet going at Farlington Marshes car park for the Chichester, hayling,Pompey and A3 corridor traffic and would wilfully request a joining together with the Rownhams crowd.

What's the departure time at Ronhams please? And also do you plan to then meet at Lyndhurst or go direct to Beauleigh? ( I know, I can't spell Beauleigh!)

This will enable us to make a suitable time to meet at Farlington

Cheers
Darren

Come on Darren, keep up! Posted on this thread on 19th April:
"will be at Rownhams at 0800 for a 0900 departure (Black DB9). To stay away from the 'Normal' service station traffic I will be parking at the Western end of the car park (BP garage end) where there is normally plenty of room. As with most service stations there is a selection of shops (Costa etc) inside with a BP garage for those that need to top up. Will be leaving at 0900 for a 'Safe' drive to Beaulieu through the New Forest."

We reckon Farlington to Rownhams is 25 mins at 70 mph.

How about a meet up time of 7:45 at Farlington, with a shoutPROMPT departure time of 8 o'clock?

How's that?

Chris

p.s. Jag Darren? Not the Jap I hope?

Will be in the XKR for this one Chris,

It seems things have changed since the previous post with a collective RV at Lyndhurst hence the 8am from Rownhams.

Could someone clarify?

Cheers

Hi D

There is two separate convoys both will be meeting from 8am and will be departing at apx 9.00am. One is at Lyndhurst in the main car park in the town post code SO43 7NY which is by the Tourist Information Centre. I have cleared this with the council for people to park foc for the hour or so before we leave there and for tea/ coffee bacon baps to be sold for a very reasonable price if anyone wishes to have them. Jamie will be meeting the people there and bringing them in from here.

David Goldie will be at Rownhams where there is also a McD and a few nice coffee places and will be there again from 8am till about 9.am and will then lead his convoy direct to Beaulieu from there so it is up to the individual which convoy they would like to join but THE TWO CONVOYS WILL NOT be meeting up until they all arrive at Beaulieu. Hope this helps and I wont tell you what you can do with your Michael Fish lol x x
