ESSENTIAL PUB CLUB, April 29 2014

Great night out, good to catch up with folk after the hibernation.

Car of the night for me was Gruffnut's Mach 1, what an entrance and what a car Jamie, well done there mate

Had a nice cruise home down the A3, going nicely, then some bigger boys in and ST and Cupra Cup (?) made me go faster than I wanted to good to blow the cobwebs out of the old girl and it got me to the curry shop a bit sooner,

Hope everyone got home safely and see you'se on Sunday or Monday

Cheers Darren Glad you liked the car. It was the first outing having only picked her up on Friday. I've not had a chance to drive it properly due to the pants weather. Pretty sure I'm getting 5mpg and those drag radials have no grip on a cold damp road!!! Haha

Good to see some of the old gang, the usual Le Mans suspects and some new friendly people.
Really looking forward to the summer

Had a fun convoy back with a Murci, Ruf, Monaro and GTR. The 240z was keeping tow, till the straight bits happened!

I think I can speak for all that was there at the exit point that we were all very impressed with the 240z when it left the lights

Great Pub Club, thoroughly enjoyed it! Adored the e30 M3, if the owner ever wants to so some pictures of it, don't hesitate to give me a shout!

Agreed, what a fantastic turn out!! Good to see so many friendly faces again after winter hibernation

Was just glad to get off the field on race tyres, although trying to make a get away from the lights on cold muddy semi slicks wasn't such a success

Thanks, I had to short shift as she was still a little cold, but it was a mighty fine run home!

thoroughly enjoyed this Pub Club, started with a good no. of cars meeting at Rownhams including a crazy Viper a couple of nice drive bys on the run up, i was behind the white scooby for a bit and caught a nice flame out the exhaust on my Go Pro
will update some pics later

It is I think, last Tuesday of the month typically I thought but location varies?

First one I've been to though and was surprised by how large the turnout was. I am still slightly in shock and awe of the 350Z going up the hill! Also was the lad in the white Civic an opportunistic handbraker or part of the gathering? I hope the former!
