Is it easy to find this kitchen club, not too good in Bournemouth lol
Find Bournemouth hospital. Next to it is Tesco. Follow the road that gets you into tesco (ignore the entrance to tesco) and you'll see a sign for "Play Golf" it's in there.

Google works well for finding things.....

The Kitchen Club Bournemouth
Christchurch Golf Club
Riverside Ave
Bournemouth, Dorset BH7 7ES
+44 1202 436430

Basically get to Tescos on Castle Lane East, (adjacent the hospital) and carry on up the lane past the entrance to the carpark and petrol station head for the Golf Club signposted PlayGolf

I wish it worked as well finding replacement radiators in stock. I've managed to get myself a leak in my radiator so I'm doing a bit of a bodged fix with some radweld. With any luck it'll hold out and get me there for this evening.

Bart - any news on flattening the bumps? Or can we just "overflow" into the adjacent lanes of the tarmac bit if they look a bit scary?

What are the prizes being awarded for BTW? I'm thinking "best car built in a shed in Leicester", "most red car made from fibre-glass"... or how about "car with splitter in the most number of pieces after getting into the car park"?

Should be a good evening; see you later.

Just to add...

Shiniest ex-services award?

Highest mileage award?

Highest number of tools in the boot...

...and possibly "least oil left in the car-park" if they've not flattened the bumps out...

Entrance seems to be the same as last time, I propose that those that 'can' get in should, but those that can't or don't want to risk it can use the hard standing on the lower area.

Prizes are as follows -

£25 Voucher to be redeemed at DAS + Kitchen Club extras
Wheel cleaning kit + plus extras

We were thinking of a 'Car of the night' which will be decided by the joyous attendees and also a 'Best on show' which essentially could be anything unique about a vehicle that again is decided by the other attendees.

However, in light of the other suggestions, what about these instead?:-

  • Best sideways drift entrance
  • Most entertaining attempt at driving up the 'mountain' entrance ramp
  • Greatest weight of lost body material on arrival
  • Greatest number of assistants needed to leave the car park
Standard other categories exist still such as the 'Best Looking red Noble M12 from Christchurch' and the 'Most white Scandinavian Turbo ex plod estate car'. Both highly prestigious and fought after categories don't you know....

I'm sure there's a few of us wiling to help guide the more virtically-challenged vehicles onto the overspill area (I'm actually qualified in vehicle banking and maneuvering lol)

It's probably best if the lower cars enter and exit via the ramp closest to the Kitchen Club as it looks a bit more forgiving.

Well I managed to stop the leak from the rad but stupid me put all the tools away in the workshop. I should have thrown them all in the boot and gone for a prize! I reckon I'm in with a chance on the 'built in a shed' category

Will there be the challenges in envelopes like they have on TopGear. I've got the old banger for bugger all money sorted so I'm in. driving
