Anyone got a fuller flight schedule with flight times yet? These often seem to get leaked by ATC smile

Ok the ship is now at anchor in Bournemouth. There will be boats running from the pier out to the ship from 11am - 5pm. I think you're allowed to look round the whole ship now. Unfortunately I've been stitched to do a load of media tv interviews etc because I'm local do may not be able to meet you. There will still be dedicated people to do tours though so feel free to come on throughout the weekend.

Well

we took the boat out...... forecast was 20knots and some gusts, by the time we got back in it at 4pm was almost F8 !! Slightly rough on a 21ft boat hehe Got to the pier & decided that was enough as we would have been swamped, so headed over to Swanage bay via the rollercoasters & into the lee of the wind & no swell thankfully. Ended up recovering the boat by another slipway as there was no way we could get back in at Baiter Park. An epic days windsurfing missed too.

Still we saw the planes from a distance, now I'm off to work for the weekend

Anyone recommend a place to view the airshow planes coming and going at Hurn? I was thinking of standing at one end of the runway and watching the go overhead but which end? Matchams or Parley?
I remember seing and feeling Concorde take off from Hurn when I was stood at the end of the runway and it went over at a few hundred feet. Very impressive it was too.

Yes, although the bbmf didn't fly due to strong wind yesterday

Type BBMF into Google and the results will appear.
Welcome to PH. We are a bunch of ill-informed self opinionated losers, so you'll be amongst your own kind.
If you want a career as a WUM on the ABU thread, you're in line behind a few dozen others. A few of them are quite funny. Maybe you will be one day.

Can anyone recommend some for my 3year old daughter and I to watch the planes tomorrow. Maybe a picnic and some space for her to move about a bit?

We found a good spot on the beach between the zig zag and boscombe pier. Between the mini tanks and sea. Walked around today as well and most places were rammed full. Boscombe end at top of cliffs was busy but much quieter than Bournemouth end.
Amazing to look along the beach and see so many people standing to watch Vulcan and red arrows.

Yesterday was fantastic. Everything flew, one of the Lancasters flanked by spitfires was incredible. The Sally B looked fantastic. I was gobsmacked by the Chinook display. The Vulcan was breathtaking (as ever). I look forward to the Canberra and the sea vixen today.

Yes i was there yesterday, fantastic day out, big big problem though took a couple of thousand pounds worth of camera equipment with me only to find I had left my memory card at home DOP, and as I was in a very good vantage point up the East Cliff, didn't want to go into town for another. SO, I would very much appreciate you guys sharing with me your photo's please?
