My Ship will also be there for the weekend, HMS Westminster which should also have a Merlin embarked.
I believe the ship is open to visitors so anyone wanting a tour give me a shout and i'll show you round.

Depends on their age, i think the limit is normally about 8 just because there's loads of ladders and trip hazards etc. I'm not 100% on the plan as i'm off atm but i'll post up the details here when i'm know.
Please keep us posted. Cheers

Yeah, please do keep us posted. I'm going Saturday and Sunday with the wife, and a pal from Belgium. Would be great to have a look round.Andy_vx said:

My best mates son is an engineer on board. I thought he was posted on HMS Westminster and Paul confirmed it today. A guy called Chris Walke?I believe the ship is open to visitors so anyone wanting a tour give me a shout and i'll show you round.
Hi everyone, everyone at work is still on leave but from what I've gathered the ship will run a shuttle boat from the pier out to the ship. I think it's only the upper deck that's open to the public but if I'm not busy I will be able to take you below decks.
Still not 100% on our routines but I expect we will run a 50% ships company whilst everyone else is ashore. If people want to pm me their numbers I'll do my best to arrange a proper tour.
Yeah I know of Chris walke, only a small ship of about 180 personnel.

Yep - Arriving Friday evening and staying until end of flying Sunday. Staying at the 'Langtry Manor' in East Cliff, so only a short walk from the beach.
I worked in a hotel opposite Langtry Manor (now flats) when I was at university 20 years ago... nice and easy to walk to the top of the cliffs and down to the beach from there.Cannot wait for the Saturday and hopefully the Vulcan will not be cancelled as last year
