Shaping up nicely with some nice and diverse cars once again!

I'm going to bring along my camera this meet to get some footage of people leaving...

Not encouraging mad burnouts but as it will be dark from 8pm ish now, no golfers are likely to still be about and it would be a shame to not hear some of the motors.

Or, if there's enough light, getting some high-speed shots.

So it might be acceptable to take some sound meter readings of my (warmed up) car, with and without bolt on cans, to see if I can shed sufficient dBs for a 100dB track day?

My uncle has called me to say that the event has been put up on the Renault uk owners Facebook group or something along those lines, with an expected 100+ people hoping to attend.

I have had a quick look but cannot find anything, would someone be able to confirm? Obviously 100+ renaults would take away a little magic from the event and most likely cause issues with the owners of the venue.

Bart, i totally agree. 100+ Renault owners leaving rusted French tin on the lawn is bad joojoo! I hope if they do turn up it's a sensible crowd and not just barry-boys on tour. I felt the last meet had one or two too many drifters on the grass but at least it was only a quick spurt rather than the shenanigans seen at Meon last year. You want this meet to continue at the end of the day.

What do you mean? I thought it was a good selection of cars last time and I didn't come across any muppets! Did I miss something?

There were a couple of doughnuts performed as people were entering the grassy area (early on). As entertaining as it was i am not sure this meet is the place for it.
