I've since text him to let me know where he got this information from - no reply as yet. Hopefully it's not true (no disrespect to any Renault owners by the way).

Looks like another good selection of different vehicles tonight and the weather looks set to play ball - that will be 4 out of 4 sunny evenings!

I may have to borrow that at the next one Lee, I've ordered an R3 Maxi manifold for mine which is going to ditch the pre-cat and also swap out the main cat for a sports cat. As I'm at 93dB already I need to keep it track day friendly.

I've been to all bar 1 of these I think but now nervous about turning up in a French car, don't point the pitch forks

I really enjoyed myself this evening. Met lots of new people and ended up chatting for ages. There certainly was an eclectic mix of cars, but as far as I saw everyone behaved themselves.

It was good to bring the Caterham out for its first Bournemouth meet. It certainly got a lot of positive comments, even if one person did call it a kit car!! Grrrr! I don't know if anyone got any good photos of it between that stunning Lotus Esprit and the Lamborghini? It was getting a bit dark though.
