I'm going to do my Delia Smith bit now (those that don't follow football, YouTube her infamous half time rant), the south coast forum has died a slow death lately and gone a wee bit quiet so let's get all the old school guys out of retirement as well as the guys that just read and not input into a great forum and let's support this good cause. Yes it's not the best time of year for a gathering but that doesn't matter, it's a good excuse to get your pride and joy out, or your daily runner and support a good cause. This great forum will only die if we don't contribute so let's all get together for this event to prove that the south coast is still alive and support some very special people. As Delia said, 'let's be having ya'.

Thanks for the 'BOOST' Dave clap

Yeah, it would be great to see everyone in support with their cars. It doesn't matter what car you've got, just bring it to show your support (and stick yourself on the list so I know there's some interest for this event).
I've been trying really hard to promote this event with my limited contacts and really, only you guys on here can make this a success or not. If you can share with your other forums or Facebook, I'd be very grateful (PistonHeads will tell me off again if I keep bombing forums) hehe

Please help me spread the word in whatever way you can.

Still no Zonda on the list yet then!?
A purple Diablo would be just as cool though... cool

Thanks guys

Well put mate, you have said what I've been thinking for a while, where is everybody, used to have so much input here, now going the way of most other boring car clubs, come on, folks make it happen

Yes, great idea. As already discussed with you, we’d very much like to have a trade stand there, just two or three cars with a small marquee for New Forest Sports Car Hire

Geoff, would you like to bring the Ferrari?

I’ll also invite the TVR Car Club along, we usually put on a good show!
Can't promise but if dry I'm sure I'll try to make it.

I've shared it with a few clubs and forums, I'll see what response we get.

I'll be there and hopefully be able to bring a couple more along with me, I'll give them the heads up at Goodwood in the morning.

What time does it all kick off and how long's it going to last? I've got a wedding reception on the 22nd, not too far away so might be able to pop down for a few hours. Although I might not be in a fit state to drive if it's too early. So if all is good, consider me in, Supercharged '06 Mustang GT.

Hi'ya,

I'm suggesting a 9am start as Beaulieu have said they will open their restaurant early for bacon sandwiches for those who want to arrive early and have a decent drive before the Sunday Dawdlers come out to play hehe
The actual museum doesn't open until 10am and it closes at 5pm so feel free to come and go as you please. There's really no rush to get here early, so you can enjoy your hangover first and then come and grab a coffee and have a wander about laugh

I know that some of the HSV lot are planning to meet up and cruise down together.

Hopefully see you there, as I'd be keen to see your 'Stang!!!

Sounds like a good cause and if the weather's being nice I'll definitely come along in my two.

That's great! This list is looking good already and I've got a Ferrari and a Lambo (not on PH) who are up for it too.
There was a Zonda at Goodwood on Sunday who I've been in touch with, but he is unable to come cry

I've also snuck a little post onto the Supercar Forum in the hope of sowing a seed with those guys.

Fingers crossed!?

Saints don't play till the Monday night so if the weather is fine I will give the 996 a run out.
Not a great fan of Beaulieu but a very worthwhile cause.
