Hi all,

I have only just seen that we have another Breakfast Club to look forward to on 14th December:

I'm on the reserve list but only 50 down so will definitely get in. Anyone else fancy coming along? If so, add yourself here and I'll PM you details driving

Chris....... Notax........ SLS Roadster

I did the last one from Hedge End to Goodwood and considering i only had my V8 Vantage a few days before hand and the "cough" speeds we were getting up to, its well worth attending Notax's Hoon.
Alas im sat in Afghanistan now and still will be over December so will miss it.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it, hope you can make one in the New Year and that being in Afghanistan is better than it was...

Hi Chris, I must admit I had forgotten about this - I was due to meet my co driver and his wife for lunch on the day but think that has now been postponed... Hmmm, a Christmas slalom would be fun. Not sure whether I'd bring the Chimaera or the spare rally car. As no one has signed up for the hoon yet I may join you guys there. Will you be in the MX5?

I doubt we'll make this. We have the TVR Christmas party and we're staying overnight at a hotel. Probably have a lazy lie in, a good cooked breakfast and then use the hotel facilities for the day!

Should be in the MX5, Mark is doing the head gasket on it as we speak. We did the early November slalom in an old Mondeo ST200.I was winning until we distroyed the tyres. It was our first time on tarmac and we didn't realise how hard it was going to be on the tyres.

I generally don't find tyre wear too bad - I pump the tyres to about 50psi and hope it is wet! Last time I used my Chimaera and bought spare tyres but needn't have bothered. Heavier front wheel drive may be the issue, easy and cheap to pick up some second hand wheels and crappy tyres though. May be doing the slalom, still not sure so for now please don't assume the hoon is happening.

Would be cool if you could do more of these hoons, haven't been able to do one since Wilton house over 2 years ago (black monaro vxr at the time) maybe you should do this more often, a hoon to anywhere is still a good hoon mate!
