Hi All

Can anyone recommend somewhere local (I'm in Worthing) to have the wheels on my 350Z refurbed?

They have bad kurbing, flaking paint and I would like to change the colour of them.

I've heard of The Wheel Specialist in East Grinstead but not sure if they are still trading?

Thanks,

Sam

I'm about to get mine done at the Wheel Works in Crawley. I've heard really good things about them. I will report back if mine are done in the next week or so.

Have just had a split rim done by The Wheel Specalist at Fareham (franchise) with first class results, better now than when new, not cheap, but the best never is.

Just had 4 x 17" Lexus alloys done by the above. Drove in, left it overnight, and picked it up the next day. Not the cheapest, £400 all in, but the wheels needed balancing anyway, and that's obviously done in the price. Nice job.

I use Exel Wheels, he isn't local but does travel and can often provide a loan set of wheels. Excellent job, very pleased with my wheels.

Might be a bit much for some but I work in Eastbourne (live in Shoreham) & I had the wheels for my Mini GP fully refurbished by KAP Motor Group.

The work is only ever done by the Folkestone branch so I dropped it off at KAP Eastbourne, it was then recovered to Folkestone, all four wheels done and recovered back to Eastbourne. Yes I took the mileage before and after, set the odometer and left fumes in the petrol tank!

The work was amazing. Not an easy wheel to do either because the rim & spoke face is diamond cut and the inner part of the spokes is matt black. LOTS of places were either hella expensive or just wouldn't do it. Before they were done, I finally found the JCW centre caps I had bought I posted them down to Folkestone & they fitted them for me (they have to be fitted from the inside of the wheel out). Total cost for all this was a squeak under £370!
