Need some help.

I have to go to Bournmouth this weekend and I am apparently staying at a hotel that has no parking: www.maemarhotel.co.uk/

It utilises two nearby public car parks.

Now, my issue is that an issue with one car now means I am facing taking a car that I am simply not inclined to leave the car that I now must use in an open, public car park.

I'm aware that Bournmouth isn't per se a hotbed of street gangsterism but I have seen how today's pensioners operate so I was wondering if anyone knew of any alternatives that are more secure etc?

Thanks in advance.

West Hill Road isn't the best for parking, on street is very busy, and quite a narrow road. I'd be inclined to consider the BIC, where the car would be out of sight.

Thanks. What is BIC?

The hotel uses two public car parks within a few yards of them so the car wouldn't be on the street but I don't know the area at all and for all I know I could drive for three hours and find myself in Mogadishu.

Bournemouth International Centre. Link to their parking: http://www.bic.co.uk/visiting-the-venue/parking/

Do you need to use the car over the weekend? Determines whether more secure parking further away from the hotel would be worth considering.

Yup. Ideally I don't want to be using it which is why I'm concerned about effectively leaving it in a car park for 2+ days in an area I don't know at all.

I'll be arriving at the hotel around midnight so probably easiest to use the nearest car park but not knowing the area I don't know if it's a crap hole etc.

Sure that car parks ok, but understand you may not want to leave a nice motor there that long. if you want to leave it on my drive and get a taxi in you're welcome (cost £8 or so). Pm me if you want details.
