Wilton house - 7th June - Drive down

Anyone heading to Wilton house this year? (from Bournemouth/Poole area)

We're meant to be there for the day, so if the drive out is with the intention of making the 8am arrival time, count me in!

Are you guys parking up on the lawn for 8am? I'm up for the drive out but will be leaving bournemouth around 7:15am

I'm down on the PH car park area list. Is that what you mean? or are you actually on one of the stands?

I applied directly through Wilton, parking on the lawn via the red entrance - we've been requested to be there by no later than 8am.

The PH parking may be similar - but it's pretty clear I need to be there before 8am, or not at all

Hi all,

Apologies for lack of updates, I spotted the other convoy thread.

I'll be leaving Bournemouth at 5:45am to join the 'notax' convoy on the M3. Let me know if anyone wants to tag along/join up at an earlier point. (closer to Dorset end)

FYI - I'm not on the 'official' parking list, just the ordinary PH area. For us mere mortals we will need to burn an hour the other end before being allowed in.

Wowzers. Can't imagine my neighbours enjoying a 5:45am start up from the garage so i'll have to swerve and simply meet you lot there.

What are we all driving btw? Will help to identify people should I bump into you.

I'm aiming to get there about 9ish or just before as I'm sure there will be a queue. (ill probably go via wimbourne as there is some nice roads and scenery)

And ill be in the DDR, annoyingly just found one of the coilovers has gone, but ill be replacing the damper because of so can just drive and enjoy the banging of it every time there is a big bump!

Not overly keen on leaving that early myself but the drive down is my favourite bit!

I'll be in a grey 996 turbo with a PH smiley on the top right of the windscreen.

It's a shame my friends that are coming with me don't want to wake up early and join in! I will just have to drive straight there.

isn't there two drives? one for the display/lawn cars that need to be there before 8am, and a later for those parking in the Pistonheads car park, arriving after 9am?

I hope there is one for the PH parking, which is where I will be, but I haven't found details of that yet.
