M3 J6-8 SPECS Cameras

Anyone know the reason for the average speed cameras that have appeared between J6 and J8 of the M3 this week? Cones along the hard shoulder but no sign of any work yet, no speed limit signs and plenty of 'camera not in use' signs.

Was wondering how long they're likely to be there for.

I was wondering the same. Nothing on the Highway Agency website either.

Also noticed there is some work going on at the southbound (redundant) junction '6a' sliproad as it enters the field.

Signs are up now. Looks like the disruption will be overnight (21:00-06:00) from 15/06 to 31/07.
