Pub Club Dead?

So is the pub club now dead as a result of the late May/early June meet?
I was under the impression it would be revived for the end of June, in a different location and not posed on Facebook?
It seems a great shame for those meets to be stopped because of one persons actions.
I would hope a July meet would be organised, to keep it alive before the weather deteriorates for winter.

Please let me know if a private pub club develops. Ive been intending to come along to one since i moved to the area, but other things always get in the way!

Well the/us Lotus Anoraks meet at the Seven Stars in Stroud the first Monday (except for bank holidays in which case we meet the first Monday after) of every month so anyone interested in Lotus cars and VX220's is welcome to come along. Over the twenty odd years we have been meeting different marques have come and gone so there is always a range there.

Ivee been intending to come to that, too. But always seems to clash aswell. Next month im moving house the very next day!

A real shame how summer is almost over and there's been no mention of another pub club. Just because some careless bloke with a fag got a bit close to a Ferrari, ruins a great meet with a collection of near on 100 cars on summer weekday evenings.

Well I guess there is nothing wrong with just meeting up at the West Meon Pub one evening. I go to the Pub Club to chat and meet like minded car fanatics, OK the exotica on display was nice but if your car is that precious and worry about smokers getting too close to it to you don't turn up with it.
What about a low key meeting?

Think that's a plan, shame to miss the good weather at the moment, I'm sure there would be plenty that would be up for it, need an excuse for a little run out.

I'm going to contact people I know and ask if they want to just meet up and chat so rather than make a list just turn up.
No pressure then to organise anything.
