Hi South Coast PH'ers

2017 sees the return of Wilton Classic and Supercars: http://wiltonclassicsupercar.co.uk/

Anybody planning on going? Convoy?
I went in 2015 and I remember there was PH car parking, which was just as good of a display as the main event!

Cheers all,
Nic

There's a thread here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... don't hold your breathe for parking as it seems communications are not their strong point.

I'm looking forward to it. I've applied to have my new car on display. Not sure if it will be accepted or not, but it will definitely be good to park in the PH parking again.

Yes, I'm following that thread for info on PH parking but thought I'd see if people in our region had any plans!

Of course, I'm quite aware of the time we have to organize anything biggrin

Picking it up tomorrow.

It's a TVR Griffith with the Topcats Racing LS3 engine conversion. 6.2L tuned to 530hp with a Tremec TKO600 gearbox. Complete nut and bolt chassis restoration, bare body respray, all new black and yellow custom interior...everything new.

Ok, it's not a thoroughbred supercar, but it's as quick as most supercars. 500hp per tonne puts it up with some serious supercars.

Wow that is pretty impressive!

Did you make the most of the dry weather this weekend and get out? How does it drive?!

It's bloody mad. Not gone anywhere near full throttle yet, it's just so fast. Only done about 70 miles in it so far, so still getting used to it. Didn't have the time to use it at the weekend as we were at a theatre show in London.

Guys to those haven't done so I'd suggest applying through the website, I recieved a speedy response (and acceptance). Will also be interested in a convoy, had great fun in 2015~

frown

Event cancelled, and "office soon to be closed" according to an email just received.

That's a damn shame!

Anyway... anything else happening that weekend?

That's a great shame!

I was really looking forward to returning to Wilton, being so local.
