Definitely count me in Ross, just let me know when a dat is confirmed and I'll bring the camera along.

1st April is quite near, and my car is in the shop on the 27th having some non-fault repair work done, not sure what courtesy car they will give me but have been promised "like for like", we shall see tongue out

@ bigalx, E36 M3 looks great too, it's going to be a busy spring/summer!

I have a couple of interesting cars; a Monaro VXR (kinda rare now) and a new Mustang - I also have a DeLorean but it's in bits. When it's done, you're more than welcome to shoot it. I enjoy photography so it's always an excuse for me to snap someone elses chariot smile

Never seen a DeLorean in the flesh, that would be an experience smile

Thanks guys, didn't expect such a wide turnout but this is great! I'm in Canada early April for a week, so as soon as I come back I'll start getting in touch with people.

Once again, I really appreciate the interest!

Best I could manage myself of my Vanquish S was this, would love some professional ones in a nice spot!

On a side note I'd love to get some pictures of my boat if that's something you wanted to try?! Only issue is getting close enough to land to get photos? Must be somewhere in Portsmouth, or maybe a good zoom lens?

What boat do you have?

I'd be happy to give it a go.

For the op whilst not as fancy as the cars already offered I have an Abarth 595 which I'd be happy to bring along.

Oh wow, we are definitely going to have to sort a day out to photograph the Vanquish and ALfa biggrin

As for the boat @M5MarkM, I work for Wightlink, I may be able to ask nicely if we can have the hold area in the middle of the water between Gosport and Gunwharf for a brief moment during a quiet period one day.

Alternatively I know the sailing club by Priddy's Hard and could ask them too. Although I have no idea how big your boat is tongue out

Speaking of Isle of Wight, I'd really like to get a few cars over to the Island for some scenic photos with the light house/sea in the background too. I can sort all that out, but can only take a car at a time for free of course, although will have to check for any changes to that rule.

Eddie that IS gorgeous! I REALLY like these, just don't think I could live with one for a DD doing 30,000 miles a year frown Looking forward to seeing this in the flesh! How you liking it so far?

Sounds like a good idea for a photo shoot with the 2 cars smile

Problem is that those all have sticks, go slow, get in my way and love to cry "power gives way to sail!" AND they lean at silly angles so the bubbly gets spilt wink I'm in a Bavaria 400 with twin D6 400's. Can't beat 12 cylinders and 800 BHP against a stick and some wind wink

Have a draft of about 1.4 meters so can't get too close land sadly

Hello again,

We have now confirmed that we will be holding a breakfast meet on Saturday 1st April.

This is predominantly for Italian Marques of all types and ages, but we certainly don't mind others coming along to join in.

The meet will be held at The Departure Lounge Cafe in Alton, which opens at 10am. They have a good field which they let us meet in, so we don't have to be in the regular car park.

For anyone in the southern part of Hampshire there will be a pre-meet and convoy leaving from Hedge End (J7 of M27) and taking the back roads.

If you would like to come please just come along. Either meet us at 08:30 in the Hedge End Sainsburys car park, in the bit by the petrol station, or at the Cafe.

We usually chat and look at the cars, have a good breakfast, and then get away again before lunch.

I hope you can make it, camera and all!

Thanks Ross, I'll certainly see what I can do as I'm only a stone's throw away!

I have added to my calendar, but I may not have my car then as it's in the body shop, so will be in whatever the hire company deem "like for like".

Now that seems like fun!!

We often get onto the shore though and have a draft of 2.9m! The gravel gives it a quick clean on the hull rofl

Sadly the engine is not as powerful but we also have a generator which is bigger than most engines.

However I have a large lens so from Lee on Solent I got them BAR multihull shots whilst it was around calshot.

If you can make it to Hedge End, you can leave the hire car there and crew with one of us.

Hi Ross,

How often do you guys have the meet? I ask because I've had a work appointment come up which I probably will have to attend now in the morning, so will be bummed to miss this one, although I'd still very much like to take myself and gear to the next one!

Weather is still hit and miss folks, but I'm keeping an eye on forecasts smile
