I knew it finished in an X (oops, did it wrong again dad winkhehe) although I wonder if there's 2 of them? scratchchin

Whilst Im here, for those who use the lower part of the A23.... the other night on my way home, just at dusk, I noticed a sneaky BiB had parked the silver BMW on the local traffic/footbridge at Pyecombe (the first one you come to northbound) and was out the car using a handheld speed trap. He thought I didnt see him wink

Busy boys this morning. 1 unmarked car, 1 Volvo marked car and 1 marked motorbike had pulled over a car each in Patcham. About 700 yards covering all 3 stops. Wonder if they'd been driving each other?

ETA: Just to keep it on topic, the unmarked car was the silver C Class saloon (thought to be a debadged AMG) GX54 ***

The only unmarked silver C class saloon I'm aware of is a C320. Where did you hear about an AMG?
Im positive I saw it badged just as a C32 and made a presumption smile

Well, driving past Waterhall (Brighton) this morning, low and behold I see 6 BiB getting ready to do a mass traffic stop, and found their (unmarked) cars hiding round the corner wink

Post is of no value to this thread but it made me chuckle smile

There was one what appeared to be 'civvy' with them, and Im guessing his car is the silver one far left as it was the only one covered in England football stickers and I doubt the BiB are allowed to go that far undercover? hehe

Oooh, new one spotted on the A23 this morning.

Light metallic blue Jag X Type with one of those 'Starsky & Hutch' stylee lights that stick on the roof. Didnt get the reg but it looked a couple of years old.

Not really a spotted per se, but the silver C Class reg GX 54 *** parked up while the BiB were stuffing their faces at the Chalet/Cabin (can never remember which) Cafe in Cowfold. Greedy buggers!

Anyhow, the unmarked car is an '06 reg (HF06 GLJ or similar last three digits) V70 estate in dark blue with all of the windows heavily tinted.
Be funny to see a marked car pull it over for tinted windows, chav stylee hehe

For those of you who use the southern section of the A24. Spotted over the past couple of days near the Buck Barn crossroads;

Silver 5 series estate (nabbed a guy in a 911)

Light grey (possibly beige!, only got a fleeting glance) VW Passat estate. Only noticed it going the other way as it flicked on its 'blues' (which were located at the bottom of the windscreen)

Didnt get number plates Im afraid.

Keep um peeled wink

Either a replacement for the silver BMW335i or an addition to the A23 sneaky brigade Im not sure, but hidden away in one of the regular unmarked BiB hidey holes at Pycombe today was a dark/gunmetal grey 3 series saloon. Will get reg number/confirmation as and when.

Keep um peeled nerd

I have been reliably informed by a TVR driving mate (as in he got a tug and 3 points) that at least 3 unmarked police motorbikes are operating on the A24 (southern section anyways). Riders are in black leathers too grumpy

So boys and girls, no motorbike baiting nono You have been warned.

Feckin downright sneaky bar stewards if you ask me. Lower than a snake's testicle! Bah humbug

What? Not even a 'giveaway' hi-vis vest???
Apparantly not grumpy

And on Sportsbikes too, none of them lardy arse tourers with paniers
