I'm sure they do. I see the 2 silver ones fairly regularly, they are probably Brighton based, and I'm think the last 3 letters of the reg changes subtly every so often.

'New' one on the A23 this morning. Bright silver Mondeo (might have been a Focus) Estate, chav looking coloured (silver/white) rear light lenses. Reg GX58 ***

For those of us in the north of the region, saw a dark silver (tungsten?) BMW 3 series estate last week pulled someone at J7 m25/m23. Didn't get a reg or model as I was going the other way.

Funny you should say that as I saw one last week and it stood out due to the fact it was a 3.0tdi but had basic wheels on and I immediately thought hmm, is that a cop car. iirc was a 06 or 56 plate

Been meaning to post up. Saw a silver BMW 5 series estate parked in a layby just off the A23 last week. Blooming thing had a roof rack on it which Im thinking was camoflage! I can't confirm its an unmarked traffic car (didn't see blues and twos) but it definitely had a sneaky looking traffic officer at the wheel. Just be careful. If they can use MPVs no reason they can't use a roof rack!

New one on the the A23 this afternoon. Well, when I say new I mean new to Brighton. Silver BMW 5 series (F10) with the reg starting GN59 xxx. Drew my attention as it was parked in a daft place on the roundabout right at the bottom of the A23, positioned as if he was waiting for someone.

Grey Audi A4 on the A23 this morning. Didn't catch the reg but looked something like LJ14 *** (well, obviously not the asterisks )

Metallic blue Audi A4 on the A23. Reg was something like YS13***
