Coming back on the M3 tonight, a fire brigade van with blues on comes past. I then saw in my mirrors a BMW 3 series approaching in my mirrors. I could see something on top of the dashboard and then as it drew next to me saw it was one of the unmarked I am always seeing - SV64 BJJ.
He followed a merc who was making progress for a while (it looked like the merc was keeping up with the fire van as it was clearing the road nicely) then shot off.
I later saw him performing a rolling road block - car lit up and matrix in the back warning to not pass the police car as object in the road. As we then came to a stop between the 2 Basingstoke junctions, he leapt out and picked up what looked like a big lump of rubber and threw it out of our way. Wouldnt have wanted to hit that so thanks
He then shot off like a bullet down what was now an empty motorway in front of him. I later passed him - he had pulled over a blue Mazda estate.

I've asked my mate (copper) and he can't confirm it, but there was a goldy/beige, 12 plate , unmarked Volvo V70 (T5 or D5) on the Dorset way this afternoon. No tinted windows or lights which was odd but the lone driver was either a copper (was wearing one of those spray on black t-shirts, tac vest and had an ear wire) or SF heading back to Poole. I had a feeling it was a 'job' car for some reason as i approached and as i passed it my suspicions were confirmed. Stupidly i passed it at a little over the speed limit (Tower Park straights) but he didn't follow me which makes me think there is a chance it may have been a Hamworthy car.
This car is apparently a low key 'no-excuses team' car. Doesn't come out that often but it was in Poole this morning and the car goes out with the sole intention of sticking you for anything and everything. My mate called me to say it's on the road this week and to avoid like the plague if your car is 'different'.Eddie

I thought that all the unmarked Skoda's had been replaced with BMW's but clearly they are still lurking around.
Passed me this afternoon with blues on. I also saw a white VW Passat estate with blues on but I have a feeling that may have been fire/ambulance.
Hampshire have quite a few Skoda's still aswell as BMW's.Passed me this afternoon with blues on. I also saw a white VW Passat estate with blues on but I have a feeling that may have been fire/ambulance.

Yep, seen this parked on the verge by the slip road out of Nuffield Industrial Estate, opposite Toys R Us. Copper in it with hand held speed gun getting people coming over the Fleetsbridge flyover from Holes Bay towards Oakdale/Canford Heath.Eddie
Always be careful on that flyover ! Just like the Wessex Way heading north from Cooper Dean....:-)
Sad loss for Sussex RPU
