Two unmarked silver VW touraegs with blue lights screamed up the hard shoulder past me on the M3 near Winchester this morning. Any idea what they could be?

Could be anything. Police, Doctor, Paramedic, Fire officer, SIS, NCA. I've not seen these before though.

Are they allowed to do that, isn't leaving a L plate on when you're not a learner a offence?

It was a real photo. But as stated above, no offence of leaving an L plate on.

Black focus Estate, something large stuck to windscreen. Lower middle. Lights behind grille on northbound A3.

Both near Guildford.

I spotted a copper in traditional white helmet and fluro vest with police on the bike riding a red Ducati Pangale yesterday in havant about 1500. Had a second look as don't usually see hi viz on that sort of bike!

Not sure if it was unmarked or just someone riding to work
