Hi Ironic, thanks for the compliment It looks good in the pic, but it does have a few rough edges, but i'm working through them slowly... I do about 5000 miles a year in it and it has been fairly reliable (just the usual of keeping the points adjusted, regular oil and water checks) but there has been the odd hiccup (choke cable snapped, rocker cover wouldn't seal properly) and now the engine troubles, so I have decided to take the plunge and put a decent engine in (its only a 998 at the mo). I'm also going for the sort of period rally look- my next change is a set of Grp2 wheel arches (black with the chrome strip) and some chrome door mirrors.
Well.. if we're posting Minis in here then here's mine:
When I first got the car it had big deep dish alloys, nothing wrong with deep dish alloys.. They just aren't right on a Mini IMO. I replaced them with 6x10" Weller Wheels and at the same time added a brand new Cooper S brake setup. The go-cart like handling is awesome after driving the car on 12" wheels.
No Flaming about the stickers please

Ah, good, so just as one R26 leaves the SC another one turns up to save the day
What what? Not already! There is also one among us who has 'acquired' a new vehicle and has yet to display his finery
Despite being 23, I've realised I'm over 50 really...But it's hard to resist a creamy 4l V8 My first at that!
Shall be used for commuting for the next few months while my '5 is off the road getting repaired.
On the plus side, my insurance on the Jag is cheaper than the 5!!
