How much is it lowered by Luke?
Stupidly I didn't measure wheel-centre to arch height before the dampers were fitted, but I'd estimate around 30-35mm. Initially I went too low and couldn't go over some types of speed bumps so cranked the ride height up a few mil the other day!
They're certainly a big leap up from the OE Bilsteins that were on my car.

Orange for the world!
By the way Leesa and Daniel, the 182 looked great on Sunday, bought back many happy memories of our old one, that black gold is a great colour!

Looks a lot like the one parked in our office car park, even the reg plate is the same! By the way Leesa and Daniel, the 182 looked great on Sunday, bought back many happy memories of our old one, that black gold is a great colour!

I did have this not any more - I only post it as some of you may have seen it about in the last couple of years (ridicuously loud - exhaust was labelled sport but actually should have been sold as earache):
Then had this horrible piece of cack for a couple of weeks:
Then my favourite car I owned:
Then this is what I have now. It's diesel, and I couldn't afford the MX5 on the motorway everyday...the fuel was a killer. Its relatively quick for an old diesel, but just not fun compared to my MX5.

Love the Esprit, is it true about the shockingly bad maintainance costs?
Or have you not had it long enough to find out?
There is a lot of inaccurate information going round about them. They were a £50K+ car when new and maintenance costs reflect that, this one had to have £3k's worth of work done but that was major including manifold studs so while the engine was out I had all the things that should be done done i.e. cambelt, heat shields and the big service so hopefully running costs will be about normal for a while. I wouldn't suggest buying one on a tight budget but having tried many cars up to my original £30K budget it is the car that never fails to put a big grin on my face even when doing a waltz across the grass at Castle Coombe.Or have you not had it long enough to find out?

Sounds like your treating her as she should be treated.High grin factor is worth the money any day.
