ASDA is a tiny bit cheaper, but I'll stick to Shell, a good few pennies cheaper a litre than home in Surrey, so I got V-Power to make up the difference. biggrin

Probably in a ditch with an axe hanging out the bonnet hehe
Very near to the truth!

My DS3 Racing is parked in the compound of my local dealer next to umm, my other DS3 Racing!

Both with identical faults and both now rejected, waiting for Citroen to give me my money back so I can buy an environmentally friendly used V8 (instead of being an environmentally unfriendly new car).

If I buy what's on my mind at the moment you'll hear me before you see me...........

Blimey, that's bad luck! What actually happened to the engines?

Still looking Jim, can't really do anything firm until I get refunded.

Both developed poor running and hesitation at just over 1,000 miles. They had 5 attempts at fixing the first one until they gave up and wanted to put a new engine in, I was having none of it and they gave me a brand new car in December, sure enough at 1,000 miles that one also exhibited the same symptoms.

I heard there were 4 other Racing's waiting for new engines in the UK and I know of one other owner who rejected his car.

I believe there's only one reason there are so many DS3 Racing's for sale used on Autotrader...................

I don't know how they can keep fking up such a relatively well proven engine? Unless cooling Is very marginal or something daft like that.

Hi Poko,

Thanks for that, much appreciated! It's a real pain in the bum trying to get out of the Uni at home time.

For some reason my sixth sense could tell that another Pistonheader was in the vicinity nuts I'll keep my eye out for you in the future!

My thoughts along with many others is that the crankcase breather is venting a little too oil much back into the intake which in turn causes the valves to stick, Peugeot remove the pipe and blank off the breather holes, Citroen just bury their heads in the sand, but strangely on the DS4 THP 200 they've removed the pipe!

Never mind, back to the original topic................

I was thinking it didn't look that good in black actually. I had to wait until it was really close before I realised it was an M. The dark colour didn't show off all the bulging arches and flared bumpers very well. It did look very good, but other colours show off that muscular shape better.

Hmm. I get what you mean, guess i need to see it in the flesh.

I hate that bloody orange colour, think something equivalent to an avus blue would be my choice.
