Very good tonight gents (& lady) good to meet up with some new faces, and a good show of cars. Looking foward to the next one, when it'd dry, my new tyres have beded in and day light (I'm almost night blind)

Yeah, I thought it was excellent! Good to meet everyone, we will definitely have to do it again. Good shout on the route too James, lovely roads.

It was nice to meet everyone and put some names and faces together, especially as a new member. It would be great if we could make this a regular thing. I might actually bring my car next time! biggrin

Was a blast chaps, enjoyed the excuse to get out for a blat. Next time, we defo need to have a bit less darkness, those tree lined tunnels were a bit of an issue at speed....

ps Darren, (Mr 3 point turn) the steering lock on your Clio is laughable, but I guess you noticed that!

Yeah great meet guys. Hopefully get a drier evening and get some more peeps along next time. Should defo try and get a regular one sorted.

James- The steering lock on the Clio is non-existant- I've created many a traffic jam with it! Only just had the ground clearance to get out of that carpark as well! The noise of the Vantage as you passed me on the straight made me far too excitable! Tried to keep up but got caught behind that car and couldn't remember the layout of the road that way in the dark.

I know that bit of road in the snow, dark, light, blindfolded....makes overtaking a doddle, although I nearly crashed when looking at the spooky lights in Matterly Bowl...

I had a great time last night, even if I was playing catch up for a while after leaving Tesco's.

What were the funny lights at Matterley Bowl?

I think we should tink about doing it again soon.

Cheers

can't believe I found this thread the day after it happened - especially as I awarded myself the night off last night frown

Sally reckons they were the sanctury festival setting up she is into that sort of thing (well before babies anyhow http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/sanctuary/20... It looked like a a load of stringed lights setting out a carpark...very spooky...!
