There are a few good pubs in Romsey. If not i used to live near the cowherds pub in soton on the Avenue half way up on the common. Pretty good in there and easy to get too.

Good shout the new forest.

The White Buck? i think its called that. In Burley, big car park and good drive. If not the pub in Ashurst (next to the station), nearer soton has big car park.

The Ashurst one i believe is called the Happy Cheese laugh

There is one just off of Junction 1of the M27 heading towards Bramshaw and I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me!

Yes, i know that one as well, i cant remember the name either. Its on the right as you head towards the village?

If not, just off the roundabout junction 1 m27, going the lyndhurst way, there are two pubs there.

Definitely scope for a New Forest Meet if others are OK with that?

Plenty of nice places over J1 M27/Lyndhurst-type direction smile
Went here recently after being recommended -
http://www.sirwaltertyrrell.co.uk/
Very nice.
Nice car park and very quiet (even if I'm way too young to like quiet places! wink).
It's the last turn off the A31, just over the brow of the hill as the A31 runs down to the M27.
