I honestly dont know what I fancy next, I have a "short" list of about 8 cars
but tbh I am in no real rush, have been looking to replace the T5 for over A year now (just for something a bit newer) but nothing really jumps out
I enjoy owning the big old swede, and she can hustle along at a fair rate
so no real rush

I need a new toy, I've got a Mini Cooper S at the moment that I bought for the misses to learn to drive, but she hasn't really shown a great deal of interest, so it's going to have to go for a new toy for me!! I get to drive a new Merc on a day to day basis, so only need a weekend car.
Been thinking of:
S2 Exige S - already had an Elise I didn't use a great deal, so not sure.
M3 CSL - Might feel a bit too 'normal' to be a weekend toy.
Porshe Cayman S - These look really cheap at the moment, and would be good for a European jaunt in the summer.
Aston V8 Vantage - Top end of my budget, but the noise!!!!
Porsche 996 Turbo - Outstanding value for money, but the running costs worry me slightly, they also feel a bit dated inside.
I know it's boring, but I also don't want to lose my shirt on something, so ideally looking for something at the bottom or there abouts of it's depreciation curve. Decisions, decisions....

SadlerJ - Sounds like you ought to be buying a Ferrari 550 to me - probably the best value 200+ mph car on the market and just so pretty. A good long term hold IMO, I'd be amazed within 2-5 of years if you couldn't turn a sensible profit on it.
Nar...drove one once...did not like it...a big big and lazy for my liking, also only has 2 seats..my V8 Vantage is much more fun...and much more pretty...more interested in motoring perfection than profit...Edited by sadlerj on Tuesday 17th February 15:58
