Dude! That's awful frown A real shame about the clio...MX5 or 182?
Not sure... scratchchin

It's not being collected by the insurance company until tomorrow so I hope ot find out this week....
I joked with my dad when I was back at my parents for the weekend (it happened on the A272 en route to theirs) that if it was written off (and I could afford the insurance! wink) I'd buy something stupid, along the lines of a Clio V6... hehe

Oh well, just need to find out what's going on!

Anyhow chap, enjoy your new wheels! driving
Clio V6 isn't a bad idea at all! wink

I'm smitten with the 5 now...Brought it back home yesterday. All 150 miles of it with the top down around midnight! Brilliant fun & a great little car!

My mechanics just checking it over at the mo as we had a little "incident" with changing through the gears yesterday...But aside from that, it's gorgeous! thumbup

You have to get one Luke smile

Gheyer!

You should announce the fact you hate it with a passion and how your going to replace it with TVR tomorrow and all other manly stuff like that. All the while enjoying the fantastic chassis, buzzy engine, japanese reliability and open top motoring. Thus retaining your hetrosexual status HTH

Closure to this thread - Pictures of the '5 smile

Wednesday evening - Somewhere north east of Winchester...About to head home to Worthing with the top down having just picked it up from the old owner.

Friday night @ 11:30 in a cold cold cold shed in E.Sussex having the gear linkage sorted out

Saturday/Sunday - This thread better sums up what happened: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Monday morning - Relaxing after a top down hoon into work first thing! The hoon home was just as good if not tons better.

Chuffed. It needs some slight tweaking with the gear linkage still but it's given me more fun, smiles & memories in 1 weekend than the 328 did over the past 18 months thumbup
