Well done to Paul (3.2 Carrera) and Nick (C4) for setting an excellent pace and sticking to the route!
No probs mate im glad you enjoyed the pace smile
Nick - you were talking about mpg at the services before we started - just wondering what you managed on the run...!

Stu (Black CTR)
On that note I still didn't manage to get mine below 30mpg, but was stuck behind a bloody Astra for 5 miles. However, the ensuing balls out blast with Fraser in the Monaro was awesome silly

I still have this image etched into my eyes: this particular stretch of tarmac crested and then dived into a sharp compression - coming the other way was a large car followed by two wide eyed bikers, as the big VXR reached the bottom of the dip, ever so slightly crossed up, rear wheels throwing plumes of dust up from the side of the road thumbup

Were you guys heading up the M27 this morning?

Was heading down to Mudeford and spotted a yellow corvette(?) and a green T350 I think along with lot's of other exotica.

Yes, a group of us left bournemouth at 9am, with a stop-off in Ringwood en-route.

It was actually a TVR Sagaris.

we as good run up to the meet....!

F@*k me, Jess and I have only just got in and i only live 10 miles from the end point. Neil.d said "follow me back to the M27" and thats where we went wrong!!!!

Thanks to the guys in my group (3 Evos and a T350) pleasure to drive with you, shame we got beaten ever so slightly by the Aston and Lambo gang.

Was a great sight at the start, and at the end. All that gleaming metal in the sunshine and i have to say Diz and Doorman did have the shiniest of them all. Doorman you have clearly been removing your exhausts to get them looking that good.

Glad the parking worked well, the little enforcement man was there with the key as the Aston pulled up to the gate. It was a nice touch!

Best bit was that nothing got bent or damaged.

Someone else can organise the next one, unless you want me to. If so email me with suggestions for the end point. Parking and food essential.

See you all soon.

Jim & Jess (and Marlee, who now has a PH coat, will post some pics soon)

Well done Jimbo and Neil for organising a cracking day out. Special commendation to Neil for his additions to the route- I thought we were doing an extra loop to pick up the stragglers!! Glad to see the 2 Z4's we lost at Winchester caught up- I did try and hang back.

Apologies to the group that I was supposed to be leading- ended up getting caught at the edge of the lorry park and had to pull out with the first convoy.

Funniest point of the day had to be an impromptu of yanking on handbrakes and hitting hazard lights as everyone bailed out the cars and into the hedges to relieve themselves on a busy road near Droxford.

Yep so it was... you picked a good day for it. We drove down from near Milton Keynes with the roof down all the way.

yes Big car + lots of HP + small road = definitely a fun day.

Robbie, that little swift is a demon on the twisty stuff. Must do it again soon biggrin

It ain't called swift for nothing wink Seriously though, it should only have 123bhp and isn't even that light at 1100kg. However, it does have fat tyres for such a little car - feels like it's suckered onto the road.

Doesn't crackle half as nicely (read doesn't crackle at all) as your V8 does though evil

Yeah thanks Jimbo! Well organised day out.

I was in one of the Z4s. We got stuck at the traffic lights. Was really confused because somehow, we got to the end before you guys. Did you go off the beaten track?

Ha yeh, do like a bit of loud metallica to make a change from the chav ste you hear everywhere! MAatt you should have come over and said hi!

on a driving note, was a tad hairy swinging round a corner through morestead to be greated by that big ass lorry taking up his side of the road and half of our side, brown trousers in full effect!

Fantastic day & great roads.....had fun with the Clio williams boys - didn't realise how well they went.....one of them was forced onto the verge whilst overtaking a biker who didn't check his "death spot.." lucky escape & well held...

Great to go back to Stokes Bay, hadn't been there ages. Shame i had to rush off but Mrs Cooke isn't well at the moment....have a laugh cruising back with Gavin in his tasty red 911 until a temp sensor gave up and the dash lit up like Knightriders dash board.....

Thanks again to jim & neil for sorting the route, venue and for booking the weather....
