Tesco Whiteley Fuel Problem?

I filled up yesterday at Tesco Whiteley and a hundred yards after leaving the engine management light came on and the car went into safe mode. Anyone else used the station lately and had a problem? It could just be coincidence but thought I would ask.

Yikes, hope not, I filled up at lunch, car was fine on the way back to the office (5min drive) but I suppose I will know for sure on the drive home - will report back.

Use it regularly with no issues, but to be honest the things I fill up there would probably run on coal dust too...

I use it probably 2 or 3 times a week and never had a problem before. I used it this morning too in the other car and that is fine so it must of just been coincidence.

Didn't they have that problem, a year or so ago, when people's cars stopped working?

I can't remember when it was but yes they did. Not all stations were affected though and I was using the one in Whiteley then. Just have to wait and see what the garage say about it when it goes in.
