Chaps, I know there was a thread running in the North West section (can't find it) where we were discussing the availability of ramp hire and that nobody had managed to set something up due to issue with liability insurance . . . . . . . that's now sorted In approx two weeks time, there will be ramps (2 and 4 post) in Neston to hire on an hourly and daily basis. There will be some of the more expensive workshop kit (presses, plasma cutters, bearing pullers etc.) available on site and it will be available 7 days a week 8am-9pm All hosted in a section of a professional bodyshop with covered & secure storage facilities if needed Is that of any interest to anybody?

Very interesting. So would I be able to store a track car on a trailer for a monthly fee and then hire the workshop per hour as needed?
Sounds great!

Sounds great! Yes, one of the challenges has been finding the space to store cars, both short term (to allow the owner to get parts) or longer term As soon as we have the rest of the launch info ready, I'll get Tom (Lund on here) to pop it all up / post a link to the website. And before anybody asks, there will be discounts for active members on here and other selected forums (even for Benny!)

Brilliant. No more messing about with axle stands on a wonky driveway.

I've half heartedly looked in to setting up something like this a few times but never got around to doing anything meaningful. I'm convinced that there is a decent market for it.

Should be all sorted by the end of next week (epoxy flooring is going down in the first unit on Tuesday!) ready for a soft launch over the weekend / week commencing 21st May It's been a fun ride, and the ordering / delivery of all the new kit has been like Christmas has come early

Hi, great idea and glad you sorted insurance out. I posted on here last year that i was hoping to set this up as i had just closed my garage and had all the equipment available, but couldn't get the insurance. (I moved to car sales and kept some of the equipment) Good luck with the venture and hope it all works out! There was lots of interest in this.
