Nice.

I have just ordered a new M5 and the wait is killing me!

I have just joined the supercar driver club.
Was pondering about it last year when had the Tuscan, they have regular runs in the north. Couple of weeks ago went on a lakes meet in the atom, nice convoy included a 458, r8, MP4-12c, alfa SZ, 997 turbo, m5 and a boxster.

Will have to organise a meet when the m5 arrives I'll be eager to get the running in service out of the way!

Big 500 mile loop up from Inverness..

Google/YouTube it.

Best scenic roads in UK and getting a lot of marketing at the moment, so will no doubt get ruined by traffic...

Was planning on it in October when get new car but kennels fully booked until end of November 👎

nice!

am I right in thinking you can choose what exhaust noise gets played to you in the cabin?

do you not have a running in period, eg nothing above 4krevs for 2k miles...

Was heading the other way in red RS6, by time I recognised plate was to late to flash lights!

Car looked good in the quick glimpse I got smile

Thanks
No they asseemingly used to have the engine sound enhanced through the speakers but I can't hear a thing and tbh I wish you could turn it up if it was there?! Not sure the LCI models have it. Sounds great from outside but inside its a little too quiet.

1200 miles sub 5000 revs. Frustrating but it's on different oil etc so will do it by the book.

Thanks, I'll look out for a red RS6 in future. Not many of those about, I've seen a few RS4 saloons but the Daniel-Craig-in-Layer-Cake RS6 estate is the one I'd get.

Brampton to Carlisle and Carlisle to Whitehaven are my two playgrounds.

Just thought I'd let the Cumbria PH'ers know that it's the VSCC Lakeland Trial again, this Saturday, based around Whinlatter Forest and Honister Pass mostly. Oversubscribed this year, with 100+ entries.

I'm not sure if this post is breaking any rules, so I'll ask the mods to kindly delete it if does:

Just want to let Cumbria PH'ers know that if they need any quality paintwork/bodywork then give me a shout. My website is in my profile, just send me a message and I'll make sure you are well looked after beer

best road ive driven on recently was the "haile road" between beckermet and egromont, nice winding back road with not too much traffic on. its a bit narrow in places but its been recently resurfaced.

another is the calder Bridge to ennerdale bridge. drove it at night and felt like a tarmac rally stage with blind crests and diving left handers.
