Hi Mike we spoke a few years ago in Penrith b&q on this subject, I was in the MGZT. I will say provisional for this up and coming run folks. My car is down in Newbury now but it would be worth a run up

Hello Steve! I remember you and your car- it had a sinister idle, so had to come over (and interrupt you recycling) to speak to you. I hope you and the car are well.

Doing just fine Mike. Today my boss and his brother both had a squirt in the V8 (car& bike nuts) a big thumbs up for the yank rumble. Hopefully we can both make the run and continue the chat.

We are up that way most school holidays including the next 3weeks. If the 16th goes ahead we could be tempted, although we don't have anything exotic!

Great to see there are petrolheads in this area. I can drive around all weekend in the Lakes and see no-one.
The run out this Sunday 17th is still going ahead (weather dependant) and wondering who fancys coming along?

Route suggestions are very welcome otherwise it will be around the southern area of the Lakes. ie Bowness/Windermere/Broughton-in-Furness/Coniston - mostly very good roads, but also a couple of narrow lanes - you cannot get away from them here in the Lakes!

Looking forward to the run out and meeting up with more petrolheads.

Steve, do you live in Shap? Somebody who lived there was interested in my ZT a while back, and I remember them mentioning a supercharger.

Indeed Shap is home, and the car has been to dreadnought for the S/C conversion. If the talk was of buying your car and swapping the S/C over to your car yes that was me.

It is with much regret that for now at least I will not be available for this outing. However its not over until the fat lady sings I am told!!

Moved up to Ulverston from Bolton a few months ago,

have an S2000 on the drive, whilst not in the same league as some of the metal in this thread,
it's by choice - it's a perfect car for the lake district roads...

Would be interested in meets up here....

Looking at the weather for tomorrow and not that good, so going to cancel tomorrow's drive out.
Having said that, I will still go to the Crooklands tomorrow just in case someone turns up.
