Unfortunately I am going to miss this as working this weekend.The next weekend with some good weather and I am home, will see if we can get some of the Cumbria gang together for a drive out.
For any Cumbria PH'ers interested, it's the VSCC Lakeland Trial this Saturday 8th November. The best spectator location is the Drumhouse section, at Honister Slate Mine. Cars will start to arrive from 9am, until about 3.30pm, although I don't think that it'll be busy until 11am. There are 100 pre-war cars entered.

I'm based in Carlisle, and am up for some drives out this summer. Not sure I'll be able to keep up with you guys and your tasty machinery - I have a Eunos Roadster. It's currently out of action with a dead engine, but that'll be fixed up very soon.

This weekend!But important to note is that it's SUNDAY.
A few people I know emailed Straightliners to check and they said that Sunday for the RWYB, Racewars and Show n Shine.
They will mostly be racing bikes and testing on Saturday.

Not seen this thread before, thought I'd introduce myself. I'm based near Cockermouth but at Uni in Newcastle at the moment so will keep an eye on here for any events. Don't see many PH smilies round this neck of the woods! Some lovely cars on here, I've just got an old Fiesta ST but would certainly like to come along to anything that was going on. Also have a 1980 clubman estate that may or may not be finished this summer, currently in bits in a barn!

I'm just outside Cockermouth myself, near Moota, you might see my blue Audi A6 V8 knocking about, or certainly hear it anyway. It's stickered :-). Just a quick heads up, we're doing a nurburgring trip on the last weekend of June. TF is open Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday.
Taking the overnighter from hull on Thursday the 25th and back in Carlsile Monday. Ferries about £250 per car and cheap guesthouse accomodation in Adenauer.
