What does this tell you about his feelings for you? Do you need to have a sit down with him and talk things through. Maybe he just needs some time looking at the cars on his own, to give him a chance to reevaluate where the relationship is going.

Yes indeed. I want him to do a bit of welding for me in a couple of weeks but I'm thinking I'll be doing it myself now.
