The best driving roads

I will coming on holiday in a few weeks time to Lancashire/Cumbria/Yorkshire Dales, and was wondering what not to be missed driving roads there are around the area? Staying near Kirby Lonsdale, so quite central to the Dales and Lake District, and thought it would be a shame to not take advantage of some local knowledge regarding the roads!

From Kirkby Lonsdale to Low Sleights Road (B6255) up to Hawes, then up Cliffe Gate Road (Butter Tubs Pass). I don't think the Butter Tubs pass needs much introduction.

Don't think you will be hard pushed to stumble on good roads in the areas you mention though.
