Hello all, I'm currently writing a trio of motoring-themed short stories to be published via kindle and due to the dark themes I rather fancy taking a black & white photograph of a beat up old interesting/obscure car (or cars if the scene presented itself).

Without wanting to venture too far from my home in Wilmslow, South Manchester can anybody suggest locations with objects of crumbling coolness? Obscure coupes would top the list - riddled Maserati's etc!

PM if you'd prefer

thanks

There's various stuff rotting away outside a house on Long Hill. About 1mile after Whaley Bridge towards Buxton, on the left. Mostly uninteresting but there is a '57 Chevvy amongst it.

There was something in a recent edition of Classic and Sportscar about some serious old pre war classics in a warehouse in Stockport - sorry for being so vague
