Yes, I went along this Sunday to the second (I think) meet - excellent turn out of interesting vehicles, plus free bacon butty and brew!

The Corner House is a Restaurant on Mossy Lea Rd, Wrightington. The Dicconson Arms is now called Pesto and is an Italian Restaurant at Dangerous Corner in Wrightington.

It was advertised in the classic car weekly, and judging by the turnout if it had been advertised anymore then there wouldn't have been enough room.

A great first meeting and free bacon butties what more could you want.

Sounds a good meet up; never heard about it til now, not that far from me either. Are there any pics for us to look at by any chance, or did noone take any?smile

I'm surprised classic meets like this happen at all with the dreadful weather we have, not only that but so many owners of more "prestigious" classics just don't take the damn things out enough and use them as they ought to, and instead are just tucked up cosy in the owners heating double garages throughout winter and summer and never see daylight, which is just a waste and pointless.

This is quite local for me, sounds good. I think I will be going to a few of these. Some nice roads on my route there too.

Might have to pop down to this, the owner is a friend of a friend and I'd not heard about this until reading here!
