Next event is 13/03, same location (Chester Castle), seems to be a bit more local awareness now so should be interesting

Hi Dave,

Got your message and edited the wicki listing for the next meet.

Still awaiting a moderator to clean up the top of the forum though. 2013 needs deleting and 2016 needs making a sticky.

You having a laugh,no refreshments no toilets, poor turn out and you call that 'fantastic'
you should pay a visit to 'cars and coffee Liverpool' and have a rethink

perhaps a bit unfair, that is quite a nice collection of cars. yes its not liverpool but most gatherings are not that big. I think it could benefit if it was moved to a large chain pub car park so there would be breakfast served, refreshments and toilets like they do with the preston super car meet. just my opinion but keep up the good work

My 1st Cars & Coffee thought it a great turnout, met lots of like minded petrol heads thumbup
woohoo Coffee / refreshments and toilets 5 mins walk up the road, no problem !! (the guy who organised it did apologize to everybody for the coffee van not turning up, he had let him down)
Are our Cars safe at the Liverpool meet ?

I like you Rocvo. I normally enjoy your posts but that really is quite out of order. There may not be the numbers but the quality and variety is very impressive. Almost everything there was a head turner. The fact the coffee didn't turn up isn't a reflection on the organiser, and was almost certainly unavoidable by him.

Why is it out of order,i travelled 50 miles and those in my group came from Blackpool,Lakes and Preston to get there, would have been nice to get a coffee/tea to warm up and the use of toilets wouldnt have gone amiss, just airing my thoughts
Preston meet is a fantastic gathering well organised as is Liverpool Cars and Coffee

Care to expand on what you mean 'are our cars safe at the Liverpool meet'
I'm sure those who live in Liverpool will be interested to hear what you mean

there are a lot of people gather at the Liverpool C&C, the more people the more chance of opportunitie for people to do things they shouldn't. on the plus side there a lot of enthusiastic people about who would spot anything going on that shouldn't and a lot of people taking photos and video all morning so we all get cought on somthing quite oftern.

Nonsense, i didnt see anyone doing anything that they shouldn't be doing let alone being caught on camera
Liverpool was a very welcoming gathering and made adaquate provisions to cater for all

Rocco, you really need to read, i never said anything happened there or would, i said the more people the more chance for anything to happen. the plus side is lots of filming going on and i have never seen so many people on there mobiles and cameras filming.
Liverpool is an exelent venue and if the weather is good i will be there yet again as i have been before.
i was advocating Liverpool not condemning it. please read and understand before commenting

So why imply the following 'there are a lot of people gather at the Liverpool C&C, the more people the more chance of opportunitie for people to do things they shouldn't.'
Why even suggest such a thing???

simple facts, no people no chance of issues, more people more chance of issues. what part of that don't you understand. people who display cars are entitled to know their cars are safe. i dont for one moment think there are any issues there. you asked another poster to explain a statement made. don't make issues were there are none. every car enthusiast who takes their cars to any venue will be concerned about car safety are entitled to ask.
i ask everywhere i take my car but i have been to Liverpool on numerous ocations and if i for one moment thought there was issues i would not attend
