Anyone know what classic this is?

I wonder if anyone could identify what this is? seen at the St Helens Classic car show in Sept. Didn't look at the car up close only at a glance, but it's something I don't seem to recognise; initially thought either an MG, Reliant Sabra, TVR or Triumph that's had a special/alternative bonnet fitted. Maybe it's a kit car. The bonnet looks fibreglass to me though. Anyone know?:
