We're getting married in the Standish area of Lancs in August and we'd like to have someone at the venue to keep the many children who'll be there occupied during the day. What we're looking for isn't the typical kids entertainer who does bits of magic and makes balloon animals, it's more someone to organise games and generally keep them busy so that their parents can relax.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Can't help with suggestions but it's a really good idea. We had a magician go around the tables at the meal time doing close up magic and then he did a kids show while the speeches were taking place and it worked really well.

This guy has been around for years, he followed in his fathers footsteps.

We have this lady booked for our daughters birthday party.

Seem her before - very good with the kids:

We're only in Billinge too - and think she's Wigan way so handy too.

Pier Fun Casinos are good for the adults - Wigan based too. My sister had them at her wedding.

Thanks for taking the time to reply chaps, but as I said we're not looking for a magician/party-type entertainer, it's a person to organise games and activities smile

Try my friends Cath and Ben who run Bizzie Kids in Manchester
Think they are more like what you are looking for.

Sorry! Should read the question first shouldn't I?!

I'm sure one of these could turn their hand at this if 037's friends can't do it.

Otherwise, i'll see if my Mrs is available. She's like Super Mum where getting the kids to keep busy is concerned.

Alternatively, tell all the guests to drive, buy a few buckets and hoses and leave the kids doing that all day!

Thanks for that, I've left a message for her.
