I have have hired a Morgan three wheeler for later in the week. Can any body recommend a good route that takes in some scenic spots to get photos?

The general consensus seems to be to head out to North Wales and do the Evo Triangle.

Hop over to the sandstone ridge that runs from Frodsham towards Whitchurch. Some good hilly lanes and pubs along the way. Head up to the Pheasant for lunch, then via Beeston Castle, Peckforton Castle and chug along the hilly lanes. Plenty of lanes that are quiet and scenic.

Hi Blake,

A month or so back I did the Evo Triangle after great advice from the forum (I hired a Caterham for the day).
http://www.greatestdrivingroads.com/great_roads/Th...

Drop down to Llyn Brenig lake for photos - but plenty of chances along the route to pull over as well - there are loads of images if you Google them.

After doing the triangle (top most point) - I headed off to the http://www.brunningandprice.co.uk/penybryn/ (Conwy) for lunch. Great thing is that you can get a window seat and keep an eye on the car in the car park. Fantastic pub/food. Then drop down onto the sea front for more pics.

I did a bit of research first - and, as it happened, set off from Northwich - my car was hired from Oakmere - fantastic well turned out car and great customer service from Simon there BTW.
Here's a synopsis of my route outward (remember to take a power block in case the car doesn't have a charger point - I did and needed it for the phone/GPS - also make sure that you 'avoid motorways' on the trip from Northwich to Ruthin).

Hope you have a great day.
Ian

Unfortunately, following GPS to home will take you on some dual carriageways – difficult to avoid however without re-tracing steps.
Note: I can’t vouch for the safety of the roads, conditions or your GPS – these are the instructions that worked for me.
