I was working at the house of one of the ex owners of MoneySupermarket last year. His day consisted of pulling out one of his Ferarri's and taking it for a blast through the tunnels, the best was his F40, sounded glorious.

There is someone around this area with a gorgeous Ferrari 512 bb that spits flames (in an authentic non garish way)

Could well be the same guy, he has around a dozen at his house all in separate garages.

Childish I know but, well...I'm guilty as charged, my F430 sounds gorgeous through them, I real pleasure, one way to enjoy without breaking the limits is surely down to your entry speed into said tunnels, try 5mph

Try a KTM RC8 motorcycle with an Akrapovic exhaust which when gear changed appropriately "pops and bangs complete with flames" - the TrafPol in the 5 series at the other end couldn't half give a dirty look.
